What is pressure relief valve?
- Aug 01, 2018 -

Pressure relief valve always play an important role in hydraulic systems.

What is the pressure relief valve?

The pressure relief valve, also known as the safety valve, can automatically open and close according to the working pressure of the system, and is generally installed on the equipment or pipeline of the closed system to protect the system. When the pressure in the equipment or pipeline exceeds the pressure set by the pressure relief valve, the pressure relief is automatically turned on to ensure that the pressure of the medium in the equipment and piping is below the set pressure to protect the equipment and piping from accidents.

What is the role?

It can be automatically opened when the upper limit of the safety pressure is reached, and the pressure is reduced to ensure safety. The most common is the pressure relief valve on the pressure cooker in the home. It is a simple mechanical pressure relief, and a pressure relief valve for the heating and air conditioning system. It is a water floating pressure relief valve. It is a kind of valve that releases part of the pressure and makes the system work normally when the system pressure exceeds the design specifications.

What is the feature?

1. Accurate and constant safety and stable pressure. Once overpressured, the pressure relief valve can fully open and release pressure in time.

2. The closing speed is adjustable to eliminate pressure fluctuations.

3. The diaphragm drive mechanism minimizes operational hysteresis.

4. It can be installed in any position and can be repaired and inspected without changing the pressure setting or removing it from the pipeline
